A recent addition to the Metaverse related G+ communities is the AuroraSim/WhiteCoreSim Community. Only 30 members so far, but its slowly growing as the word gets out.

WhiteCoreSim is a recent fork of AuroraSim. We've provided links to WoaS (WhiteCore-on-a-Stick), which has versions for Windows, Mac and Linux.
