Agree when SL has issues the opensims prosper, but soon as its fixed and back up and running they all flock back to SL. This is the sad truth, SL will and always will be #1, Yes they have high prices thats how a growing economy works same as RL. Openims is just a happy Sandbox for people to play in. If you want to make a living in virtual worlds there is no better than SL. I do own a private grid and yes its a fun sandbox of sorts. My income comes from my stores in SL that I will never leave, I'm about making a small bit of money not playing all day in a sandbox. Opensims sadly enough is 10 steps backwards from SL technology and always will be. Never settle for second best your only fooling yourself if you do. Thing to keep in mind SL is a huge corporation where as Opensims is Opensource which equals Free, maybe im wrong but the content thing is if its falls in a opensouce platform then you take the risk of pirates and copy botters shame on you. and finally at Tom there is no real numbers how many or what SL stats are. As with our failing world economy went down a few left SL not the numbers you suggest. I see the stats and numbers of online people at any given time in the 3 top grids its really not impressive at all. I'm not a Opensim basher just stating the facts as they are..
