But I would agree with Ilan that "backend stuff" — inventory, assets, communication — is what Facebook already excels in. It wouldn't be an issue for them. They already do it for a billion users....

My issue is just that OpenSim is a technology that can address "hundreds" of avatars, DSG can handle "thousands", but... super-events on the Facebook Metaverse will need to handle "tens of millions"....
